Where do I even begin? First off, I don't ever write comments on websites but I could not let this opportunity pass. Will is not only an expert in his field, he made us feel completely at ease. Every time we sent him an email at 11 p.m. or later of another set of 5 or 6 houses to look at he was ready to take us to see them the next morning at 8 a.m. Will was even gracious enough take me back to the house that we liked the most so we could take more pictures. Will made sure I was available to do the home inspection along side the home inspector. Lastly, even after we had pretty much closed on the house (all offers accepted and just waiting on paperwork to be completed) Will was still willing to show us the house one more time because my wife was finally in town and was dying to see the house but couldn't wait one more week until we got the keys. As a retired Air Force Airman I am glad to see that someone was willing to take the time to explain the process to us while we are trying to settle in to civilian life. I needed a no-nonsense, direct communicating, knowledge in abundance realtor. Except for the original realtor we had when we moved to Arizona 19 years ago (who is now retired)...all others I had been in prior-to-Will contact with were no better than used car salesmen. Seriously. But, Will filled the bill. Good thing too, because it turned out our 4th...and hopefully last...experience in buying a new-to-us home (and also selling the old home), and moving was absolutely the most stressful we've ever encountered, so far. Will helped us as much as he was able to with the difficulties. He can't fix bad lenders. He can't fix inattentive insurance agents. He can't fix paranoid first-time buyers (those who bought the house we sold). He can't fix weird qualifying criteria...that have nothing to do with anything...yet, are somehow required. But, he can help you find other lenders...if you need them, and quick and honest repair people...if you need them. And countless other recommendations...if you need them. He also guides you into a good staging place (for the house you are selling...if any), provides professional photographers, and holds as many open houses as it takes to get your house sold. Whatever you have to do to get your house sold...or to buy a new one...he doesn't make you feel like you have to spend a pile of $ to get the preliminary details done. If he had done that with us...I would have ended the relationship, early. There's always less expensive options...and that's the way my brain is wired. Efficiency. Another thing that my brain is hard-wired to. The man is efficient...and so is his office. I can't stand dealing with people who operate otherwise. Especially when we're dealing with large amounts of money. Efficiency is key. To not do so costs the client unnecessary time and money. For example, if you are trying to find a home in a slammed area...where sellers think their clapboard, baby-poop painted, crooked foundation, cabinets hung backwards, flooring missing, and most recently updated in 1945 homes are worth more than Warren Buffet's holdings...you'll need an efficient realtor like Will. He'll get you in to seeing a house the minute it's on the market...cuz that might be "The One." The One that's being sold by a reasonable seller. The One that's ACTUALLY updated. The One that...in order for you to have even the slightest chance of getting...you need an efficient realtor that can also schmooze the seller's agent. You gotta do your bit too, though. If you are seriously looking to buy a new house, and/or sell an old house...don't be that client who ignores requests, waits till the last minute to produce requested info, or doesn't do due diligence. If you are that client...whatever goes wrong...might be your fault. Be a good client, and get in touch with Will.
